How long until I can go out??

How long should I wait before going to
1) School
2) Grocery Store
3) Friends house
4) Target and Other outings such as movies
5) Anywhere

I would check - and rely solely on what your Orthopedist and Physical/Occupational therapist tell you, then of course what mom and dad have to say about it. If you ask someone with no medical background they could give you wrong advice. I'm sure you are probably aware that not only do you probably need to regain your strength after surgery and learn to get around after your amputation, you need to be mindful of infection and getting out in public, let's say somewhere like Walmart - public crowded areas will only give you a greater chance of getting an infection. I am sorry about your amputation, hopefully you have some great friends to keep you company during this time.
